Snapshot: Surf's Up!

Goofy gets ready to hang ten at the Pop Century (AKA Scopa Towers). I know there is a distinct pop culture significance to the automobile, but I'm pretty inept when it comes to cars. I want to say '67 Corvette, but that's a wild guess at best. Someone please educate me . . .

The car is a '63 to '66 Corvette (can't tell if the back window is a split window or not.) The significance is that is one of the cars in the song "Dead Man's Curve" by Jan and Dean.

Thanks for helping with the ID--I wasn't as far off as I thought I was.

It is in fact a 1963 Corvette. It has the split rear window. The car sits on the edge of the 60's section heading into the 70's. It is a real car as well, not a replica.
